Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

09-03-2021

National Hispanic Heritage Month starts September 15 and ends October 15. During this month-long observation, Americans celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of all American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Now is the time to explore the vibrant and diverse cultures being celebrated. Check out local museums or the Hispanic Heritage Month site here. It’s a great reason to enjoy some Hispanic cuisine at a local restaurant – there’s a wide range of regional varieties and now is a good time to try one you’ve been curious about like pupusas or tostones. Elote, anyone?
