Exciting news! The entitlements have been received for the highly anticipated redevelopment of University Gardens, which will transform it into a vibrant new community hub. This ambitious project will roll out in multiple phases, with Building A kicking things off by bringing 122 affordable apartments to life. What’s even better? Current residents won’t need to relocate; they’ll seamlessly move into the newly completed buildings as each phase is finished.

Designed to cater to a wide range of needs, the development will provide affordable housing options for everyone in the community. Plus, each building will feature a dedicated space for local non-profits and community organizations, creating a central hub for neighborhood engagement. And the best part? By the end of this project, South Los Angeles could see over 1,500 affordable apartments added to its housing market!

Located near the heart of Bishop and walkable to Main Street, this office building to apartment complex conversion has been designed to support the housing needs of the Bishop community. The property will consist of eight two-bedroom apartments and is expected to be completed in January 2024.
