SECE celebrates 20th anniversary at University Gardens

USC School for Early Childhood Education (SECE) celebrated its 20th anniversary of Head Start at University Gardens on Saturday, June 3. USC operates nine fully licensed childcare development centers providing high-quality early childhood education for low-income families around the South Los Angeles area. The program focuses on school readiness, health and nutrition, mental health, and family engagement to create positive change and build strong communities.

The partnership was made possible through the deep collaboration with Community Builders Group (CBG), who constructed the University Gardens childcare center in 2003 and remains a crucial partner today. Thank you CBG for your decades-long partnership and dedication to the community.
